Crew Member

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Crew Member is responsible for performing a variety of duties within the establishment to ensure that the customer has a great experience. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Listen and respond to customer needs and concerns in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Receive/Prepare accurate food orders
  • Collect payments for customer purchases via POS system.
  • Maintain food safety and cleanliness at all times
  • Adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols
  • Pass a Chicago Department of Aviation/Homeland Security background check (airport location only)
  • Adhere to all Chicago Department of Aviation security protocol (airport location only)

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • 1 to 3 years of restaurant experience
  • Obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Able to stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day
  • Able to instantly bend, turn, twist, or lift over shoulders on a regular basis
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the quality of the product

Operational Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Supervise, manage, and oversee the success of Reggio’s Locations at O’Hare Airport. Reports to the General Manager. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for daily inventory ordering and analysis. 
  • Ensures that all locations are adequately staffed. 
  • Ensures that all cleaning is conducted throughout and at end of each shift. 
  • Ensures that locations are adequately stocked to conduct business. 
  • Enforces all company policies and procedures. 
  • Maintains Manager Food Handler’s Certification 
  • Maintains Food Allergen Certification 
  • Coach and develop Crew Members based on the needs of the business
  • Communicates all repair needs to the GM
  • Communicates All disciplinary needs to the GM
  • Daily Deposits as necessary
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed that are deemed necessary for the success of the operations.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: 

  • Restaurant/Concessions Management experience
  • Cash handling
  • Scheduling
  • Training

CERTIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Food Handler’s Certification for Managers
  • Food Allergen Training Certificate
  • Liquor/BASSET Certification is a plus
  • Pass a Chicago Department of Aviation/Homeland Security background check
  • Adhere to all Chicago Department of Aviation security protocol

Production Mechanic

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machines, plant facilities and for the proper preventative maintenance of the plant and production equipment assigned. (i.e., Policies, procedures, etc. for which you are responsible.)

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning production and plant equipment
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment
  • Lubricate equipment on a scheduled basis
  • Replace broken belts, bearings and motors on equipment as necessary
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and controls for production equipment and throughout plant
  • Perform related duties as assigned
  • Keep area clean
  • Follow all SOP’s and GMP’s

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION

  • HS diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read electrical schematics is a plus

ADDITONAL SKILLS

  • Working knowledge of mechanical inspection and repairs
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance abilities
  • Experience in 3 phase electric and AC/DC control circuitry skills are a plus
  • Ability to read hydraulic diagrams is a plus
  • Welding and machine shop skills are a plus

Shift Manager

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Shift Manager will oversee all the daily functions of the Reggio’s locations, He/She will direct resources, drive continuous operational improvement, achieve high customer service satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee/assign the day-to-day task to the Crew Members to ensure that the stores are operational. 
  • Ensure that the stores are clean and inventory levels are appropriate to ensure the highest sales goals.
  • Confirm that equipment is working properly.
  • Ensure that each customer has an exceptional customer service experience.
  • Properly train all Crew Members according to Reggio’s Pizza Standards.
  • Ensure that all products are prepared and presented in accordance with Reggio’s standards.
  • Produce quality control records according to Reggio’s policies and procedures.
  • Collect payments for customer purchases via payment transaction devices.
  • Reconcile Crew Member’s cash drawer and store sales receipts.
  • Pass a Chicago Department of Aviation/Homeland Security background check (airport location only)
  • Adhere to all Chicago Department of Aviation security protocol (airport location only)

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • 1 to 3 years of foodservice experience 
  • Obtain Food Handler’s Manager Certification within thirty (30) days of hiring
  • Obtain Food Safety Allergen Certification within thirty (30) days of hiring
  • Liquor/BASSET Certification is a plus
