Crew Member

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Crew Member is responsible for performing a variety of duties within the establishment to ensure that the customer has a great experience. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Listen and respond to customer needs and concerns in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • Receive/Prepare accurate food orders
  • Collect payments for customer purchases via POS system.
  • Maintain food safety and cleanliness at all times
  • Adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols
  • Pass a Chicago Department of Aviation/Homeland Security background check (airport location only)
  • Adhere to all Chicago Department of Aviation security protocol (airport location only)

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • 1 to 3 years of restaurant experience
  • Obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Able to stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day
  • Able to instantly bend, turn, twist, or lift over shoulders on a regular basis
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the quality of the product
