Crew Member
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Crew Member is responsible for performing a variety of duties within the establishment to ensure that the customer has a great experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Listen and respond to customer needs and concerns in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- Receive/Prepare accurate food orders
- Collect payments for customer purchases via POS system.
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness at all times
- Adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols
- Pass a Chicago Department of Aviation/Homeland Security background check (airport location only)
- Adhere to all Chicago Department of Aviation security protocol (airport location only)
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- 1 to 3 years of restaurant experience
- Obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Able to stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day
- Able to instantly bend, turn, twist, or lift over shoulders on a regular basis
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the quality of the product
